"A RUSH AND A PUSH AND THE LAND THAT WE STAND ON IS OURS"
Holy cats! Here's what I've been up to lately:
- I read the lyrics to "There is a Light that Never Goes Out" by The Smiths in an Orange Alert podcast celebrating the anniversary of the release of the The Queen Is Dead album. This delighted me, of course.
- I was quoted on the Tribune travel blog about whassamattah with airlines, along with several of my colleagues here.
- I read at the Ipsento Cafe series last night. Cute place. Made new friends. Got laughs. Win.
- I wrote about the top 10 most-used phrases in rejection letters at Chicago Tribune.
- Lit links: library battles, poetic iPhone apps and internal monologue edition
- I wrote: On writing (I'm with Bukowski on this one)
- Lit links: libraries, storytelling experiments, writer camp and... apathy?
- Co-hosting ChicagoNow Radio is delightfully good fun. In case you have no idea what I'm talking about, hit the archives. Oh, and I lost a bet and made a fun video.
