"TAKE ME OUT TONIGHT"

Tonight, I'm doing a cool event, and I would love to see some of your smiling faces at said event. As part of the Quickies! Reading Series, which I did a few months ago, I'm doing a special reading along with about thirty other folks, where we each read a 55-word story. Think of that! Fifty-five words isn't many, and it was harder than I thought it construct a story in fifty-five words, but I did it and I'll be reading it tonight along with 55-word story-writers including some fine people you've likely already read about right here on Bigmouth:

Quickies! Reading Series is a very cool monthly reading of very short prose. This month each reader has two minutes to read a complete work of prose that is 55-words. No excerpts. No cheating. Quickies! takes place on the second Tuesday of every month at the Innertown Pub in Chicago.
