Hiding in plain sight, suggesting what you fear. Placing your person where others only place icons. Possibly I have always missed the point, maybe you are the icon, but then who or what is real.

I probably shouldn't be admitting this - seeing as I'm hosting the gallery, it'd be unseemly to be anything but an impartial curator - but I think Amy's asshole self-portrait is my favorite. How could anybody possibly top what she's done? I've received so many emails about it, ranging from what could only be described as "shock and awe" to requests to pass along marriage proposals to Ms. Guth. Wherever Vonnegut's agnostic soul is right now, I'm sure he's smiling.
BTW, I loved your comment, Katie. This is probably the first time an asshole has ever been described as "moreish" and "flexible". At least in this context. It's not the sort of thing you want to hear from a doctor, especially while he's licking his lips.
