"THE PASSING OF TIME"

I just love this time of year and Yom Kippur was gorgeous as ever today. The rabbi asked me and a few others to speak at various times during the afternoon service, which was an honor, I have to say. After, I dashed home for the break-the-fast, as I'm all sniffles and sneezes and I ready to chill.

Below, is Babs' version of my very favorite song from the High Holidays. It's really beautiful. Especially when the whole congregation is singing it together on Yom Kippur.

And this, below, is from the service the night before Yom Kippur (last night) called Kol Nidre. Love the cello. We had one, too.

Awesomely enough, I found a clip of Perry Como singing the Kol Nidre. Can't say I expected that. Pretty though, I'll admit.
