Flower en route to the train station on my morning commute. I didn't have the heart to tell the thing that fall is, to my delight, very much here in Chicago.

My coping mechanism was to tell myself, about 2 weeks ago, that summer was over and that I was really enjoying the beautiful autumn weather.
