"ALL OF THE VERY SIMPLE THINGS OF LIFE"

One of the issues with blogging on more than one blog is that sometimes, when in a hurry, I post on the wrong one. My apologies, Pilcrowers. Here is wht should have been over here:

I was just invited to be a featured reader at Columbia College's Silver Tongue series, which I happily accepted.

Also! Hey, did you hear Cris Mazza on Eight forty-eight? I loved the part about "hard sorrows" and character requirements for putting them in a novel. And, at the very end, the broadcast directed everyone to the Fixx Reading Series, tomorrow.

How great! Such good things stirring around lately. I love and welcome it all. That said, I have about six projects to stuff into four days, so I need to motor. But before I go, my cat is not coping too well with the move and I know I said I wasn't going to cut my hair until my second novel was out, or something along those lines, but it's driving me crazy being so long. I'm ready to bob it again. And, be sure to enter the contest below for a chance to win a copy of Janice Erlbaum's new book. That's all I've got.
