"A RUSH AND A PUSH AND THE LAND IS OURS"

The Fixx Reading Series went wonderfully last night. The crowd was lovely, the readings were great and although Juan Manuel Sanchez and Garin Cycholl couldn't make it due to baby things and flu things, respectively, but Adam Deutsch, Brian Kornell and Micah Reicket did a fabulous job and a fun time was had by all. They had a flat tire en route, so there was a tire rolling around Fixx Coffee Bar throughout the evening, but whatevs.

Also, yesterday, I learned that if one is stranded at sea without water, it's best to give oneself a saltwater enema. So, there's that. Just fyi. I don't know how one might go about doing such a thing, because my thought is that anything one could, say, create water pressure with might also be used to get one's ass un-lost at sea, but that's just gut reaction. I don't actually know. Maybe it could be a multi-tasking sort of apparatus.

I can't stop laughing.

Which is really unfortunate as it activates my cough. Stupid cold.

I too wonder. One would think though that the dehydration would create a bit of a natural enema situation no?

So I was so intrigued by your assertion that when one is stranded at sea without water that I had to see if I could find an explanation.

Please be advised that if you type "'stranded at sea without water' AND enema'" your blog is the sole hit.

I thought you would be pleased to know that.

Just what headlines do you read everyday? The ones I read are so ...drab compared to yours.
Since I find myself on a boat on occasion, I supposed that little bit of info maybe, could possible, sort of be useful one day. But I do hope I never find myself lost at sea. And I especially hope I never have to even think about enemas, saltwater or otherwise!
